GoldSim Training Workshops

The GoldSim Technology Group offers training options for both beginning and experienced GoldSim users. Our training sessions are tailored to meet the needs of the attendees. Our talented instructors are also experienced users of GoldSim and are renowned for their ability to make the sessions both productive and entertaining. Your investment in training will be returned many times over in terms of learning new and better model-building techniques and significantly increasing your model building productivity.

NOTE: Attendees are expected to bring their own laptop computers to all training workshops.  We provide temporary GoldSim licenses, but do not provide computers.

Custom On-Site Training

The overwhelming majority of our training is in the form of customized three or four day on-site training workshops. We can come to a location of your choosing and deliver a training workshop customized for the needs of your users. With multiple attendees, an on-site custom course is likely to save you time and money, and the content will be customized for your users.

The cost for on-site training varies depending on the location (and hence travel time and expense) and duration. Please contact us for a quote. 

Note that when you first purchase GoldSim, you have a one-time opportunity to purchase a Quick Start Package.  The Quick Start Package provides training (for up to 4 people) at a significantly discounted rate. In North America, the cost for the Quick Start Package (consisting of 4 days of training/consulting) is $6550 plus travel expenses.

Web-Based Training

Another training alternative is web-based training. 

When you purchase GoldSim, you are entitled to a free one hour, live web-based training session in which one of our analysts provides an interactive training session via the Internet and telephone.  You are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this free training. We can also provide more extensive web-based training as part of an advanced technical support contract.

During a web-based training session, the GoldSim specialist shares his or her desktop with you so you can view it through your Internet browser (using GoToMeeting), while speaking on the phone.

Web-based training is effective for short, focused training sessions (4 hours or less), but is not recommended for full training workshops (2 or 3 days).
