This model shows two examples of how a daily signal can be integrated to obtain annual sums stored in a vector or matrix format. In one example ('Scalar_Input_Signal'), a scalar daily signal is integrated (accumulated) over a period of 5 years to generate annual sums in a vector format. In the other example ('Vector_Input_Signal'), a vector input signal is similarly integrated over a period of 5 years to generate annual sums in a matrix format.
The model can be run on either a calendar time basis or a duration (elapsed time) basis and the results are the same. It is meant to run on a seasonal irrigation year (Oct 1 through Oct 1). If you want to define a year differently (i.e. with a different starting month), you must change the triggering criteria in the Triggered Event elements 'irr_year' in both containers.
