Third Annual GoldSim User Conference Draws GoldSim Enthusiasts from 10 Countries

Issaquah, WA (USA) - October 18, 2004– The third annual GoldSim User Conference was held October 12-13, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference included 22 presentations, covering topics ranging from business modeling to radioactive waste management and mining applications. Attendees also were treated to a "sneak peak" of the next version of GoldSim, which will be released in early 2005. In addition, attendees learned about future directions for GoldSim and took advantage of the opportunity to provide feedback regarding features and capabilities they would like to see added to the software. Just prior to the conference, a two-day training session was held to introduce new users to basic GoldSim concepts.

Attendees came from 10 countries (the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Hungary, South Africa, Japan, Australia, Peru and Chile), reflecting the geographic diversity of GoldSim’s user base.

"This year's conference was another success", said Ian Miller, President of the GoldSim Technology Group.“We were delighted to see the growing level of enthusiasm within our user community, and it was exciting to see users from a wide variety of disciplines interacting and sharing ideas."

Conference presentations are available in GoldSim Wiki.
