GoldSim 12.1 Update 3 Released

GoldSim 12.1 Update 3 (12.1.3) was released on March 21, 2019. You can find the installation file here.

This update contains some fixes and important updates, which are described in detail in our Release Notes. If you are not yet using GoldSim 12.1 (which was originally released in June 2018), you are strongly encouraged to do so. You can read about the new features in GoldSim 12.1 here.

If you are using a network license, network administrators should note the following:

GoldSim 12.1.3 uses a newer version of the license server than previous releases (FlexNet toolkit and a newer version of GLSActUtil (version 1.2). The new version of the license server (provided by Flexera), among other things, addresses some security issues they identified, and you are therefore strongly encouraged to upgrade. You must upgrade your server to the new versions of the license server and GLSActUtil in order for GoldSim 12.1.3 to work. Please refer to the Network License Downloads page for instructions and downloads. If you run into problems during the upgrade process, please let us know.

We have also changed our Trial version of GoldSim used for evaluating the software to be limited to 50 elements. Other than this limitation, the software is fully functional.

2019 Webinar Schedule

We offer free webinars, typically on the last Thursday of every month to demonstrate GoldSim's features and walk through specific applications. You can see our planned webinar topics here. Also, we are excited to announce that Nicholas Brink with Stantec will be presenting our May webinar, "Modeling Consolidation of Slurries: A Water Balance Approach". If you would like to be added to the webinar email list so you are notified of these, please let us know.

Video Tutorials

We have started assembling short tutorial videos (15 minutes or less) in our library. These videos are intended to help with a specific type of problem or application. You can browse the library from within our Help Center or from our YouTube channel.
