  • Q: How much does GoldSim cost?
    A:

    The cost for GoldSim depends on what version you are purchasing (commerical or research), whether you wish to use any extension modules, and the type of license (e.g., Desktop or Network). Depending on the options, the price for a single license ranges from US$950 to over US$15,000.

  • Q: Can I lease GoldSim instead of buying?
    A:

    One of our licensing options is to lease GoldSim for a one year period (we do not provide shorter term leases).

    However, if you expect to use the software (and purchase annual maintenance) for more than 3 years, it would be more cost effective to purchase rather than lease the license. Hence, a lease is the best option if you wish to minimize your up front costs and/or you do not expect to use the software for more than 3 years.

  • Q: What is the process for purchasing GoldSim?
    A:

    You can purchase GoldSim using a Purchase Order or a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex or Discover. If you select to use a Purchase Order to purchase GoldSim, upon receipt of the Order we will send an Invoice, which can then be paid via check or wire transfer. You can start the purchase process by filling out this form.

  • Q: Do you charge sales tax or VAT?
    A:

    We only charge sales tax or VAT if you reside in the United States within the state of Washington. Otherwise, if sales tax or VAT must be charged, you are responsible for accessing this yourself.

  • Q: Are discounts available for volume licensing?
    A:

    Yes. Please contact us for volume pricing information.

  • Q: What is the Software Maintenance Program?
    A:

    When you purchase GoldSim, you receive one year of GoldSim Software Maintenance, entitling you to the following: 1) Free software upgrades so that you always have the latest version of GoldSim; and 2) basic technical support via the GoldSim Help Center and phone. After the first year, Maintenance can be extended with payment of an annual fee.

  • Q: What happens to the information I give you when I purchase a license (or request an evaluation)?
    A:

    We request your contact information in order to communicate with you about our products and services. We do not use your information for any purpose outside of this scope. If you have provided us with your contact information, we email a newsletter (typically 3 to 4 times per year) to keep you up to date about our products and services, and other related information. At any time, you may request removal from our newsletter list. You may also request removal of your email address and any other information from our database. We will not sell, rent, or give your information to any third parties without your consent. We will protect and manage your information the same way we protect and manage our own company's property and information.

  • Q: What is your refund policy?
    A:

    Due to the intangible nature of software, we do not provide refunds on software purchases. We do, however, provide free, 30-day evaluation licenses prior to your purchase to allow you to determine if our software meets your needs. Evaluation licenses are fully functional, allowing you to evaluate all aspects of the software.
